These stunts represent either adaptations of various human populations to their environments, the distinctive qualities of non-human groups, or the cultural idiosyncrasies of various societies.

Environmental adaptations[edit]

These stunts represent genetic drift among human populations in certain places. Any character with one of these stunts must either have an appropriate homeworld or else have some explanatory background (perhaps including an aspect).

Adaptation, low gravity[edit]

This character is used to gravity below one gee. They are much more comfortable than other people in low gravity and experience fewer negative effects while in microgravity. However, they fare worse in heavy gravity, and in particular are unable to sustain high acceleration in space craft for as long.

Effect
penalties for low gravity are reduced by 2 (to a minimum of 0). Penalties due to high gravity are increased by 2.
Who has this stunt
natives of Eridanus II, people from a line of orbital freight workers.

Sephiite stunts[edit]

There are many models of Sephiite, with many different abilities. There are some commonalities, but the broad range of different specialized shells make for various options for Sephiite characters.

Note: these stunts may only be taken by Sephiite characters.

Core Sephiite package[edit]

This character has been converted by the Sephiites. While they may contain remnants of their human self, the nanite colony that infected them has taken over all cognitive activity. The character has the equivalent of a TL0 computer for a brain. They are able to remember data flawlessly, run lengthy computations in very little time, and interface with other computers.

Who has this stunt
all Sephiite characters are required to take this stunt.

Micropressure adaptation[edit]

This model is adapted for operation in the near-vacuum of space. They do not breathe, and their bodies are constructed so as to either function normally in vacuum, or protected by a pressurized, armoured hull (Def 1).
