+|content=After getting out of the sewers, and dropping off the three unconscious men behind a bush (and calling an ambulance), Jack set to work on discovering what made the bugs tick... in this case literally given that the bugs were mechanical.  The bugs seemed to be of a different technological-evolution than standard electronics.  Meanwhile, Allan tried to figure out who could finance the building of the hundreds of robots that they saw in the sewers.  He didn't find much, other than a new investor with a colourful family history had begun to invest in a new electronics firm (and related industries) in Hamilton.
