		+	A shepherd owes a debt to a faerie named [[Night]]. As the shepherd is unable to repay the debt, Night steals various objects from him and leaves useless replicas in their place.

		+	The shepherd decides to take revenge on Night, and so seeks counsel from dark forces. He consults a witch, a druid and a demon in turn, and is warned away from his course by the local villagers. He decides to trick Night into stealing his own name.

		+	=== Act 3 ===

		+	The shepherd's plan works, and Night is tricked. He retaliates by stealing and replacing all he can from the shepherd: his land, his family, his happiness and other things. Finally, Night steals the shepherd's mortality, leaving behind a replica which curses the shepherd to be reborn repeatedly, generation after generation.
