Growing up

I grew up on Eridanus 4 with my mother, father and twin sister Unnamed. Mom and Dad had a lot of political disagreements; I tended to side with Mom while Unnamed tended more toward Dad's side. I grew up with a Stick it to The Man attitude, especially with respect to Eridanus' marriage policy.

Hanging over our heads was the fact that once we neared marriageable age, either my sister or I would be shipped off to another of the planets in the system to be paired up in an arranged marriage. We didn't know which of us would be taken, but it was frightening either way.

Starting out

Her dad got her a job at his accounting firm, but she never went. Instead she hung around with various politically active groups.
