The bugs seemed to be of a different technological-evolution than standard electronics. Meanwhile, Allan tried to figure out who could finance the building of the hundreds of robots that they saw in the sewers. He didn't find much, other than a new investor with a colourful family history had begun to invest in a new electronics firm (and related industries) in Hamilton.

Just as Anton and Allen were leaving, that yappy dog came back. It seemed to want to communicate something... but couldn't. After several attempts, Anton managed to get her, and take her back to her owners. The owners were pleased that Fifi was returned, but not so happy that their dog had a large scratch on her head.

The day after the three left the sewers, "rescuing" Joseph Saint, his housemate Walter, and the unknown firefighter; the three tried to get some information on how the young men were doing. Having left them at McMaster Hospital the night before, Anton decided to visit Joseph Saint, posing as his brother-in-law. His reconnaissance work was somewhat less than informative, given that Joseph's mother and sister (but not his real brother-in-law, thank goodness) was there. It did, however, prove that the Bulldogs are not as famous as they think they are.

While they were eating some McMaster street-meat, a young man came up to the three and insisted that they come with him. Immediately. It seemed like the man was on drugs. He wasn't. He was a drone (we assume) and voice-piece for whatever or whomever was making and controlling those bugs. After several attempts, each time getting more insistent, the three agreed to go with the drone back into the sewers.

In the sewers, they met another mouthpiece for whatever was controlling the bugs. It was also controlling other people - probably dead people. They were definitely not healthy people as some were missing limbs.

What followed was a rather difficult and highly (il)logical conversation with a person who's brain was exposed and who was connected with wires and cables to... something. The Mouthpiece asked questions that the three were able to answer fairly easily, if not completely. But when the three put the same or similar questions to the mouthpiece, they were told that their inquiry was incomplete. Apparently, this is what happens when beings who can extrapolate make assumptions based on past experiences try to communicate with a being that only thinks in ones and zeros; and has no life experiences to draw upon. However, their discussion with the mouthpiece helped whatever was controlling it to speak more like a human... or at least like Data from Star Trek.

After a rather confusing and frustrating conversation, the three biological beings exited the sewers, and walked (or took cabs/buses/whatever) to their respected homes. }}{{#set: image = File:Lower sewer entry.jpg }}{{#set: starring = Allan Tarik }}{{#set: starring = Anton }}{{#set: starring = Jack Marks }}{{#set: guest-starring = Sandra Hsu }}
