At the Hamilton Art Gallery, ancient suits of armor come to life, attacking the attendants. While the heroes attempt to stop the armor, something attempts to steal a golden statue of a dragon that many parties are interested in. Book {{{book number}}}

The White Court wants an escape route through the Never Never.

On the streets, Anton has noticed stark pockets of power, especially between the fairy courts. The East mountain had Winter; Gage Park has Summer and McMaster has Autumn (mostly because of Allan's presence). The White Court has Hess Village. Anton has noticed that Autumn is more subtle and behind the scenes than the other two fay courts. He has also heard that the White Court wants to use the Autumn Court to become a stronger player.

Steve Thompson (related to Jim Thompson, one of Hamilton's founding fathers and a force in swimming) called for a final meeting at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Allan's patrons have instructed Allen to agree to anything reasonable within their power; not to say no; to negotiate a bit but with the understanding that most of the negotiations have been completed. Allan agrees to the date and time.

It was a good thing Allan arrived early to the gallery. A new exhibit of Eastern art had just opened up and there is a large EVENT to celebrate the opening. It was an invitation only event... unless you work for the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

Fortunately, Jack is working for the AGH. He is on the catering staff for the event. Maia is also working for the AGH as a ticket-taker. She refuses to let Allan in because her supervisor is near by. Fortunately, Anton has a few "authentic" invitations that are fancy, if forged. Allan gives Anton a call, gets him a shirt, and Anton gets a Tie from the Bulldogs. Anton is also made to smell Autumn Breeze fresh. Maia lets them in because the invitations are "close enough". That doesn't keep Allan from being stopped by Cathy Ang, a tallish woman dressed in Japanese garb. She demanded to see Allan's ticket stub, which he showed her.

The exhibit is on Far Eastern Art from India, China, Japan and Tibet. Most looks like it was from the 19th and 20th century. The poster advertising the event has, at its center, a golden dragon statue that looks like the dragon on the front cover of Jack's book. The gallery itself has three floors: the ground floor is modernish for the last 150 years. The middle floor is the classic period from 200 to 1000 years ago. The top floor has very few items, but they are all from pre-history. The dragon is on the third floor.

Security has been keeping an eye on things (especially Anton and Allan). Anton talks to a woman named Josslyn about a particular work of art: "If he did that all day, he'd be really sore and wouldn't have any kids." Her response was "Right... Nice chatting with you..."

Eventually Steve (who is low ranking in the family) and Allan get to business on the very empty third floor. The Autumn Court is ready to sign, but there was, one little thing that the White Court wanted: the statue of a golden dragon. Allan agreed that they shall "have ownership of the dragon in exchange for becoming a signature to the Accords", thus following his orders not to say no, to be sure the demands were not too difficult, and to ensure that some bargaining took place.

Unfortunately, it seemed that other parties were interested in obtaining the golden dragon statue. And these parties were not above spilling blood to obtain the dragon.

Several suits of armor were animated by something cold, and killed dozens of people before Jack, Anton and Allan were able to stop them. It was a difficult fight.

As the three were fighting, an unknown presence crept up the stairs towards the third floor, where the golden dragon was. }}{{#set: starring = Allan Tarik }}{{#set: starring = Anton Jackson }}{{#set: starring = Jack Marks }}{{#set: starring = Maia Guarao }}{{#set: guest-starring = Cathy Ang }}{{#set: guest-starring = Steve Thompson }}
