As Jack is not a wizard, the ward did not work.

Things probably would have continued to go on like this if Anton hadn't pissed in a corner. After this, it was decided that he would get an honor guard. Sev also gets spied on by the Knights, but they are not very good at it. That is, they are abe to keep an eye on Sev, but they are obvious about it and to whom they report.

With everyone keeping an eye on each other, Jack is the one who calls Sev out. Jack takes Anton with him. When Sev denies spying on Jack, Anton smells the lie. Jack describes his bike.

Finally, Sev decides to ask Jack to meet him in a neutral spot. Jack agrees and they agree to meet at the Old Ancaster Mill later that night.

During the rest of his shift, Sev begins to doubt his own sanity due to minor illusions he sees out of the corner of his eye. He also has a close encounter with four dogs, all because of a pair of hotdogs he was carrying.

Jack arrived first at the Old Ancaster Mill, which did not surprise Sev. Demands for information were made. Threats were made. Bluffs were called. Sev called Allan and Anton Jack's minions, accusing Jack of doing some sort of mental magic, which resulted in Jack howling. After he finishes laughing, Jack orders a beer, anticipating a very long conversation. Jack showed his powers over shadow inside the booth. Then Sev accused Jack of being one of the Fae. Jack replied by stabbing himself lightly with a steel knife.

The night eventually degenerates into a drinking contest. Both Sev and Jack are light weights, so they tried to cheat and both are successful at the cheating. And both end up very very drunk! Eventually, they end up in a field, showing off their powers to each other, and by the end, Jack reveals a very huge secret: he says that he is Batman!

The next day, Anton subcomes to the Medeival illusion. Jordan Mattichuck, must get him to join. (OOC: I have no clue where this line comes from...)

When Jack and Sev enter the hospital, it is like they are fast friends. Their memories are a bit foggy, but it looks like they had been in a major fight Finally, everyone's identities come out. When Anton asks if Sev should be the Royal Wizard, a patient comes over and asks him to pick a card. (That patient is the royal wizard.) Sev became Allan's "squire", though Allan did not put any magic behind it.

They decided, then and there, to pool their knowledge about what is happening at the hospital. Each has his own reasons for participating. Allan is involved because this is his mission. Anton is willing to share information because he thinks the Summer fairies are involved and wants to kick their asses again. Jack is helping because it may help get Allan's mind back, and because chivalry is not dead. Sev's reasoning is that he should get in good with the three, wants to access non-mortal magic, and is seeking power from beyond the White Council.
