Marvel 2033 - One Shots[edit]

These games take place on Earth-2033, but are outside of the 'core' game.

Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Students[edit]

  • GM'd by Kel
  • Players are all students at Xavier's School for Gifted Students in Westchester, NY.
  • Kitty Pryde is the current Headmistress.
  • Ororo Munroe (Storm) is a teacher at the school. She teaches history to the PC's and maybe other classes.

  • (Notably, Storm is not a member of the current X-Men roster.)

SHIELD

  • Olivia Hill - Maria Hill's daughter. Like a sister to Nikolai
  • Tim (?) Dugan - Nikolai's SHIELD contact

Student Attendance[edit]

  • Tank - [Soldier] (played by Micah) - Nikolai Petrovich is a clone of former X-Men member Colossus (Piotr Nikolayevich Rasputin) created by Mister Sinister, but rescued and raised by SHIELD (largely by Agent Maria Hill).
  • Chrysalis - [Newborn] (played by Derek) - Chris Alex's powers manifested during the teams first mission
  • Chinook - [Nova] (played by Ryan) - Trevor (last name is native American) - air powers, destroyed a major local bridge in the team's first mission
  • Sabre - [Delinquent] (played by Adrienne) - Callie Ferguson is the daughter of Blink, a sometimes X-Men ally. Callie's really not into the whole 'school' thing, she's much rather travel the world.

Other Students at the School

  • Mason - A popular kid, he's good-looking, charismatic, and enjoys being the center of attention. Flight capabilities and sparkly.
  • Lucia - Really, really strong and proud of it.
  • Hugo - Very smart, asks a lot of questions. Mutant power of technopathy.
  • Charlotte - Sweet and shy, has slight chameleon powers that make her a fairly literal wallflower.

Going to see Mardi G[edit]

(Sept. 22, 2018)

  • Team has a training session in the DangerRoom against the Marauders. The simulation is the Mutant Massacre. They do well enough and earn praise from Professor K.
  • Attend history, classmate Charlotte is publically humiliated after popular boy Mason rejects her invitation to go to the Mardi G concert which she has tickets for, despite being warned by Chris that she probably shouldn't. Before class starts, competitive girl, Lucia tells Nikolai she has broken the bench-pressing record previously-held by him. To prove her wrong that she is better than him, Nikolai has an arm-wrestling match with Lucia, which he loses (causing Trevor to lose money to Mason).
  • In the common room between classes, the newsfeed is alive with the fact that Mardi G is in the midst of a very public feud with mutant hip-hop star Vicky Mirage. Some of Mardi's rhetoric feels anti-mutant.
  • Chris Alex has a soft spot for Charlotte and tries to comfort her after her rejection. Charlotte wistfully expresses that she wished that Alex 'was always a boy'.
  • After school, the rivalry between Nikolai and Lucia continues, but this time, Nikolai wins as he manages to benchpress a little more than Lucia's new school record. While the rest of the students are distracted by preparations for the contest, Chris uses their current stretching power to sneak into Mason's room, propping a bucket of glitter mixed with an unusually strong bonding agent from science class over his door.
  • The students become aware that the X-Men are mobilizing to the Blackbird, because word had reached them that Mystique and her crew were going to cause an incident in Washington DC. Professor K tells the kids to stay behind and basically lock-down the school.
  • Callie, who also has tickets to the Mardi G concert, convinces her teammates that they should go because Charlotte could already be there (Callie was correct, Charlotte was indeed already there), and there might be trouble due to Mardi G's anti-mutant sentiment. (But really, Callie just wants to go to the concert.)
  • At the concert, trouble does indeed arrive, as a group called Mutant Power (comprised of Queen B, Princess Pounder, Surf Lord, and an unnamed shapeshifter) disrupt the proceedings. A fight ensues, but Mutant Power is defeated and Mardi G is saved (and gains a new fan in Trevor whom she also has some affection for). This likely leads Mardi G to re-think her feelings towards mutants.
  • The team returns to the school and Callie manages to convince Professor K that none of them should be punished.
  • However, all might not be well as it seems the shapeshifter is at the hospital with Mardi G...
