Anton was the first to awaken. He had tubes in him, with Jack and Allan on either side of him - each in their own chair. He could smell the two warriors, as well as Maia and James. From what he could tell, the others were deep in slumber. The room they were all in was dark, and smelt damp and musty. The tubes lead into one of the walls. There is one door to the room, and it was made of pure iron. Within the shadows, Anton saw things that he couldn't really make out. There was still a chemical flowing through the tubes and into Anton (and the others), which was making him woozy. Soon, everyone manages to awaken, except James.

Anton shifts into dog-form to get out of his straps, and helps everyone else who is awake get out of their chairs. As he does so, Jack sees a shadow within the darkness dissipate, and discovers that his inhuman strength does not work; probably as a result of the drugs. Allan moves to unhook James from the tubes, but Maia suggests that he be left alone because James was captured in the simulation, and may die if he was pulled out. Allan suggests that there is no medical reason to take James out of the chair, so long as it is not for too long. As far as he can tell, no one is suffering from dehydration or starvation.

Oddly enough, the only door to the room was left unlocked. It did not cringe on its hinges. In fact, the room and outside hall were so quiet that even the people without supernatural hearing were able to hear each other's breathing. Everyone's watches and cell phones work, indicating that it had been approximately 23 hours since the battle in the AGH.

The door lead to a long hallway, almost a T intersection. Randomly, the heroes went to the left, and up some stairs to a room filled with old oak furniture. It was well worn and was in a style from sometime in the Medieval ages. There were a few doors in the room, each leading outside. There were trees to the left, a grassy area, and beach in front of the characters. It smelt like Lake Ontario. A quick look around determined that the characters were on Barg Wagners, near Hutches. The building itself is made of stone and mortar and is very plane.

The heroes decide to separate and work on what happened from different angles. Anton makes a few calls to his contacts on the Black Market to see where their stuff is, and everyone else explores the other end of the hall. In the first old room, we find a few candles and a tinderbox. (No giant dog appears when we strike it.) At the other end of the hall is another room full of antiquities, two windows and a chest. In the chest is all of our stuff (fae swords, haunted axes, etc), but not Jack's book. Allan takes a sample of the drug to get it analyzed. Jack does some research in the local papers to determine what the media is saying about the deaths. Obviously, Anton's calls came up with nothing, but that also included the book, sword and dragon.

Allan goes to determine what drug was knocking us out; Maia tries to find out more about the building the characters were held in; Jack stands guard. Allan discovers the liquid used was saline solution, Gaderaid and a mild sedative. There was nothing unusual about the solution, so there must have been something more (magical?) that would have kept the characters unconscious.

After discovering that the building doesn't appear on any photographs on Google Earth or in the city's archives, Maia goes to the AGH wearing her work clothing. She sees nothing unusual other than it being a bit busier than usual. The statue is there, along with Jack's book and Shreader's sword. Security is thicker than usual, almost like something had happened, and there is now a cover up. In which a bargain is struck, a prison is escaped, and lost objects are found... but not recovered.

In the simulation, Maia struck a bargain with (TEXT REMOVED) which involved (TEXT REMOVED)(TEXT REMOVED)(TEXT REMOVED)(TEXT REMOVED)(TEXT REMOVED). As a result, the heroes opened their eyes and found themselves in, what they hoped would be, the real world.

Anton was the first to awaken. He had tubes in him, with Jack and Allan on either side of him - each in their own chair. He could smell the two warriors, as well as Maia and James.
