Surge is a (+1) ursoid xenomorph, with the bearing and dexterity of a man and the stature and features of a polar bear. Surge joined Space Force shortly after his homeworld, NEEDS NAME, entered Stage Four. While his family held on to some old traditions (like naming), he essentially grew up in the Commonality culture and has a clear sense that Humanity's Destiny is in the Stars. During aptitude testing, Surge's Affinity for Hierarchy and Large Size earned him a position in security, despite an incidence of acting like a Bear with a Sore Head. after an injury. After being accepted into Space Force, he was outfitted with several upgrades, and a training Energy Mace to replace his traditional hammer. Surge's Empathy for Lost Colonies led him to take a position with Cooperative 54, searching out other lost colonies.
