Drawn by the dreams of strife, Maia Guarao walks into the middle of Gore Park to find David and Allan at each other's throats. A pack of street kids swaggers by and while in the heat of their argumeent they didn't notice when one of them whisked off with the contents of David's pocket. With her tempering influence, the three manage to work together to return the lost deck.

Fate and Fortune collide when the Gray Tarot appears.

When a Winter changeling finds the Gray Tarot, Allan Tarik, the Autumn Knight, is sent by the Autumn court to collect the cards. But as he does so, he discovers that fortunes are being forced into being, and Allan has had the Tower card drawn for him.
