Introductory description of character

Background

Growing up

Anton is an african american who grew up in the American city of Detroit. About ten years ago Anton and his family moved to Hamilton where he got a job at Stelco after the auto plant he worked for in Detroit shut down. Laid off by Stelco four years ago Anton's life fell apart. He turned to alcohol and his wife left him taking his 15 year old son with her. After this Anton lost his house, became homeless, and lost track of his family. Since then Anton has been living on the streets. One night outside of Copps Coliseum was attacked and turned into a werebulldog. So far Anton has managed to remain neutral in the conflict between the werebulldogs of Copps Coliseum and the weretigers of Ivor Wynne Stadium.

What shaped me

So far the Bulldogs coach hasn't actively recruited Anton but it only seems to be a matter of time. The Tigercats have been very aggressive towards Antonand he avoids that part of town. On the street Anton knows several people including Ted the kindly LCBO manager, a network of other homeless people all over the city, and the cops that run the drunk tank. Somewhere in one of suburbs just outside of the city live Anton's estranged wife Lorna and son Leroy. Makes his living selling information and annoying people who then pay him to leave them alone.
