In which a stronghold is infiltrated, resulting in an awkward family reunion.

The game started with David Shu getting a call on his cell from Allan Tarik, saying that he and Anton needed some help tracking down That Man. David swiftly caught up with the Autumn Knight and the Werebulldog in a small forest in Hamilton. The remains of a ghoul wearing respectable clothing tainted the air with the scent of death. As a group, the three headed deeper into the forest, Anton using his enhanced senses to lead the group to a small building where the scent trail led.

The building was surrounded by a ring of blighted land and being patrolled. After a bit of deliberation, the three men snuck their way closer to the back door, which was warded. After a bit of deliberation, Anton jumped through the warded door, suffering its response. Allan and David followed suit, avoiding the worst of the death fog that poured from the door. The back entrance led to a dark room, full of boxes of sand, which Anton claimed as his own. Behind a latched door lay a massive kiln which was the source of the heat on the hut.

As the three investigated, the front door opened and from the shadows came Simon Shu, David’s father, accompanied by a ghoul. After a brief fight in which the ghoul was beheaded by Anton, Mr. Shu invited his son into the basement to show him his crazy scheme of bottling demon’s blood. David barely managed to refuse his father’s blandishments before leaving in an agitated state, promising his father that he would see him Wednesday for supper. {{#ask: |The Glass Forge |?title |?chapter number |?blurb |?empty |?label |?image |?parentordinal | sort = chapter number | link = none | format = template | template = SMW campaign chapters level 3 }}
