Historical Note[edit]

The subsector was named by PrimSurvSubBur first entry Event Horizon Probe Salmon-E-785 Dundee Rover/Spirit of '25 for the ancient historical designation of a distinctive planetary nebula (α:67:-4). A pre-Fall of Man image is available of this nebula.

I am concerned that SCIForceInst EvalBur and ConBur are spread very thin, operating on a shoestring in Alesha and adjacent sectors. All survey cooperatives should consider, where feasible, checking in on contact operations in their assigned remits. Conduct Mindscape synchronization as normal, but also pay close attention for signs of contact protocol violations. I will not allow another Venu-type incident to occur under my watch!
  1. Primary survey has detected multiple anomalous systems within the subsector, as noted in the basic text summary layer. Investigate and report as feasible.
  2. Initiate and register Quarantine as required.

Secondary Survey Sub-Bureau (SecSurvSubBur), Space Force Hub Winter Palace Localization[edit]

SecSurvSubBur is the arm of the Exploration Bureau (ExpBur) of the Space Force Instrumentality that conducts secondary surveys of Outer Worlds areas. Primary survey is conducted almost entirely by event horizon probes under the supervision of PrimSurvSubBur. Secondary survey is a more detailed activity, where small teams, called "cooperatives" survey in more detail, establish quarantine, and generally investigate situations well outside the boundaries of Commonality space.

Space Force Hub Winter Palace at Pecus Minor in the Tormipidee Pansectorate hosts a Localization of SecSurvSubBur. It is led by Academician Sinjohn Asteridi. There are several hundred staff at Space Force Hub Winter Palace and multiple secondary survey cooperatives active at any one time.
